Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use fiberframes.com, why we collect it, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who we are
The controller of your data is Schöne Airspace Intelligence Group S.R.L., trading as Fiberframes, Romania. Contact: privacy@fiberframes.com.
2. What we collect
- Quote and order requests: company name, contact name, work email, country, end use, the frame or part details you select, your notes, and whether you asked for an NDA.
- Drawings: the file you upload (DXF, SVG, STEP or PDF) and the measurements our page derives from it (size, cut length, number of contours, drawing checks).
- Technical data: our hosting provider processes your IP address and basic request data to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
The drawing check on our page runs in your browser. Your file only leaves your device when you press "Request quote".
3. Why we use it and on what legal basis
- To prepare and send you a quote, and to follow up on it: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To check the end use of parts where export-control or defence rules may apply: compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) and our legitimate interest in lawful trade (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To keep the site secure and working: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
4. Your drawings
Drawings stay your property. We use them only to assess manufacturability, prepare a quote and, if you order, to produce your parts. Access is limited to the people who work on your request. On request we sign your NDA before engineering review.
5. Who processes data for us
- Netlify, Inc. hosts this website and receives form submissions and uploaded files. Netlify is based in the United States; transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Our email service provider, for correspondence about your request, under a data processing agreement.
If we produce your parts with a manufacturing partner, we share only the drawing and specifications they need, under a confidentiality agreement.
6. How long we keep it
Quote requests that do not lead to an order are deleted within 24 months. If you order, we keep order records, including lot files, for as long as Romanian accounting and product-traceability rules require. You can ask us to delete a request earlier at any time.
7. Cookies
This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies and does not load third-party analytics. Fonts are served from our own domain.
8. Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to privacy@fiberframes.com. You also have the right to complain to the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro), or the authority in your own EU country.
9. Changes
We update this policy when our processing changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
